Sunday afternoon wedding advice

Hello all my Brides!  I was just curious if anyone could give me any advice on how much a Sunday afternoon wedding would cost.  Most likely in Brooklyn or Staten Island.  My budget is around $15,000 but the less I could spend the better.  I heard Sunday afternoon's are a lot cheaper and would just like any advice from anyone that know's anything.  I am looking to plan for possibly Oct-Nov of 2012.  Thank you all!!

It really will depend on how many guests you are having, obviously the smaller the number the better for your budget.  But Sunday afternoons are probably the cheapest time of the weekend for a wedding, at least for a catering hall.  It may not make much difference in the price for other vendors though, such as photographer/DJ/etc.
    Good luck!!

We're probably going to have around 125 people.  I figured vendors would be the same, we were just looking to have a nice wedding but not spend a crazy amount of money! THANKS!

My wedding is on a Sunday afternoon. Vendors are actually cheaper, too, on a Sunday. We found that vendors were willing to negotiate with us where they wouldn't on a Saturday night. For example, the band we have has a set number of people on a Saturday night, but we were allowed to have one less person on a Sunday, therefore saving us a little money.  Also the cost of our venue was cheaper.

My wedding is also a Sunday afternoon and yes most vendors will be less sometimes not as less as you think but it does make a difference. I am also in Brooklyn but the venue we are meeting with on May 1st is on Staten island because my first venue was already booked :-(.I actually got them from TK. They are a catering company on Staten island but they also have an outdoor venue that we can choose to do everything with them including( Tented venue, tables, chairs, linens, food, open bar for 4 hours etc.....) I can't really give any reviews because we have not visited the venue yet  I have just been interacting with the planner that was assigned to me by email on a daily basis and she seems to be pretty thorough in finding out exactly what I want and giving me prices. So far the per person food cost is $50.00 per person and equipment cost is $45 per person equipment meaning chair, plate, glass fork, spoon(well at least that's how she explained it to me. So together it is about $95 per person which is not that bad my first venue wanted $195 per person. We meet with her in two weeks and we get to view the venue and a complimentary food tasting of our selected choices so I will definitely give you as much feedback as I can.
