Seeking an affordable tent wedding in Chicago or Western Suburbs

Hi there,
I am newly engaged, and we are looking to find an affordable tent wedding venue. We would love to have an outdoor wedding, but realize the weather is unpredictable. Our ideal wedding would be at the Chicago Botanic Gardens but that is unaffordable. Does anyone have any helpful ideas?

    We need the number of guests you wish to invite and your overall budget. The Botanic Garden's doesn't really help as that venue is one of the most expensive in Illinois. Are you thinking $100 pp? Or like $20 pp?

    I been looking for the same type of venue....look at englewood resort & spa...and marriot in oakbrook, meson sabika,  galleria marchetti (a bit more $$) I also trying to call  this place called Montesorri?

    Klein Creek in Winfield has a tented pavilion and their wedding packages seem somewhat reasonable.

    I am looking for the same! If you find something, let me know. If I find something, I will let you know. Actually, I just spoke with Savage Entertainment - they have a few locations where they can do tented weddings. They also allow you to rent a tent and everything that goes with it. I am waiting for their quote.

    The caterer we used for our wedding does Tent Weddings and provide everything needed for the entire event with food, linen, all china and glasswear, silverware these are included in the price of your dinner. They also rent tables and chairs and everything needed for a tent wedding. They do a complete liquor package as well, all levels of packages. They do pig roast, buffett, you name it.

    Everyone loved the food, and the service was exceptional. We had 5 course family style dinner with a 3 hour booze package, we also got our cake from them and a few sweet trays. I highly recommend them.

    We used them for an indoor wedding at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook. I know you can have a tent wedding there too. Completely beautiful venue, I loved our wedding there. We were married at the Chapel and had our reception in the Event Hall in the Mansion. Many acres of land and lakes for pics. The inside of the mansion is being renovated so I call it gritty victorian, but the rooms everyone sees are beautiful. Check them out if you want a tent wedding in a gorgeous location.

    Chapel: We had 95 People in total. Our officient placed a camera on a tri pod very high in the air to get these shots. He also shot video of the entire ceremony. He provided all pics and video at no extra charge. Day of Dreams.com
