I've been with my fiance for 3 years and he popped the question about two weeks ago. We are so excited and are planning a July wedding. I feel a little overwhelmed trying to find a place to get married at though. Is anyone else feeling the same?

    Just take your time looking at venue, we looked at around 30 of them and it was overwhelming at times but we eventually found our dream venue and are very happy.

    Yes! I am feeling overwhelmed! My fiance just proposed to me while we were on vacation a couple of weeks ago. Never thought I wanted to plan a wedding until the ring was on my finger, but now I want to have a party to celebrate our love. I'm VERY overwhelmed by finding 'the place' -- mostly because we are going to be paying for our wedding mostly ourselves. My family has agreed to pay for the biggest expense -- catering, which is a load off, but it's overwhelming trying to find that perfect place to have a wedding and a reception (I'd like to do both in the same place). Everything is either too small or out of our price range. 

    I'm sure I'll find something though!

    I just got engaged less than a week ago. We want to have a destination wedding. I totally feel you on the overwhelmed bit! Our tentative date is for a year from now. I don't know where to being! Hope your planning goes well!
