Wedding Photographer under 1k?

Hi Ladies,

Anyone know of a wedding photographer for under $1,000.  We would be comfortable using someone who is looking to get their start in weddings if they had a good portfolio otherwise.

Our style preference is fine art+photojournalism for a more artistic, romantic, and vintage feel.

Do you know of anyone?

    Most photographers can adjust there packages to fit your budget. You probably can get the photographer for day of with rights to images, but maybe not all the photo albums and prints.

    You can try coryoneal.com, my cousin just used him and said they were reasonably priced. Mine was $3k so I'm no help.

    I'm using poetic exposure. The photographer, steve,  is a family friend who has done portraits for me before. His wedding package is somewhere around $850 and that includes: All day wedding day photography and a engagement/ bridal session, a disc with all the photographs, and I believe some prints. There might be some other stuff that I am forgetting.  I'm adding an extra session so it puts me just over $1k. Good Luck!

    My photographer is Frisco Photography and is under 1k.

    there is also Kirk McGee, and Studio Blue

    I have two friends who are faiirly new to wedding so their prices should be cheap.  Here are their sites

    We are using Evan Godwin.  HIs work looks like that of a $4K photographer.  I met him a friends wedding and saw their pics later on and fell in love with his style.  He is super talented and his packages start at $545!!

    The guy who did my engagements does weddings too.  He is fresh out of school and really creative.  His name is Travis Cobb and his webpage is below!  He gave us a great dea!   We received cd's with all of our pics plus cd's with 2 filters of our choice applied to all of them.

    Try Carl Chick of Carl Chick Photography in Frisco.  He did my daughter's engagements, bridals and wedding in Dallas and did a spectacular job.   He has many packages and is a wonderful value at an affordable price.
