Favors-opinions please!

Our favors are going to be a dried herb blend that we've grown and dried ourselves. We are going to get small spice tins to place the herb blend in so each guest can have one. I am not sure how we should display this. I was thinking about doing a pyramid of the tins with a poem about how to use the herbs in a picture frame but I am not even sure what to write in the poem. Any thoughts or ideas would be extremely helpful. Thanks ladies.

Typically I've seen the favors attached to the escort card or placed at each seat. Outside of a candy bar as a favor, I have never seen them displayed. You might end up with a lot of spice tins left behind if they're displayed on a table because people might forget to grab one.

I agree with PP. Every wedding that I've been to has had the favors at the place settings.

That's a great favor idea though...really cool that you were able to grow and dry the herbs yourself : )

I think it's a great idea to have the herb blend and I'm really impressed. I've heard of favor displays, but usually I see them at the table. The one time there was a display (the couple had personalized wine glasses with their date), I completely forgot to grab one at the end of the night. I think you could print out a cute saying on a tag and attach it to the tin, then leave them at the place settings.

I've heard of favor tables but every wedding I've ever been to, the favors are at each place setting.
