Since, unless I'm mistaken and TK is acting up again...we didn't have a QOTD. Its late sure..but better late than never!

What are your plans for the first year of marriage? Buy a house? Renovate? Have a baby? Go back to school? Change careers? Where do you see yourself this time next year?

We have the house and the fur baby, so probably nothing much for the first year. We want to get one more big traveling trip in before we start trying, so maybe around our 1 yr anniversary....

The plan is for both of us to find new jobs. Mine for career growth and FI for a job with more home time so we can start a family.

We're looking at buying a house for after our lease is up next June. We'll have the money for it, it's just a matter of finding one we like in our area. Other than that, just enjoying married life!

We need to finish up our house. We still have the living room/dining room to paint and redecorate.

Other than that, we're just planning on enjoying the first year as newlyweds. Oh, and we want to plan an anniversary trip for next fall.

Have a baby... FI wants lots of children... we already have my son that is 12...and our 9 month old fur baby

we are hoping to add to our family

and soon... hopefully if all works out well... SOON will be before this time next year

He has an excellent carear... and well I work at Tim Hortons so not to worried about that. Hoping my cake business will take off a bit more... but we are more than happy where we are currently in our lives... FAMILY time now

We are having a year of fun! We bought our house a year ago next month, and planned a wedding in eight months! We are taking the year to enjoy our house and our marriage! Go to a few concerts and on a couple vacations, and then we'll have a talk about when babies are coming.

Well my car will be paid for in a few months. We just bought our first house in August and it definately needs some renovations so hopefully we can start some. We need to replace windows, remodel both bathrooms and one day I'll get to my kitchen from the 80's! We'd like to drywall the rooms that aren't and paint the whole house as well...so its going to be one project at a time. I want some of that done before we try for kids but we both want them! I definately want to enjoy the first year! Hopefully I will also get a schedule change as well and start working days so I can be at home for dinner every night!

We are selling our current house and buying a new one outside the city. I cannot wait to get out of the area we are in. I plan on really soul searching and figuring out what I want to do, I'm thinking either biological chemical analysis or law school.

I don't think that I will be pregnant yet, but we won't excatily not be not trying either

I WILL have a dog.

I'd love to think baby, but there simply aren't any funds...that'll have to wait another two years at least.

One year from now? Hopefully done with apartment living and in our first home. Possibly pregnant, but we'll just have to wait and see about that!

Currently have a house that we are still trying to sell in a different city

Stuck back in our hometown (suburbs, close to where we ultimately want to be) in my mom's house at least until the house sells. I mean, who can afford a mortgage and rent lol? So hopefully we have a buyer SOON or I don't know what we are going to do!!

Hopefully this year will be good for us - with layoffs and moves and this damn house, the last year has been kind of rough. FI just started a new, great job last Monday, but he will be working nights.

So this time next year I would like to be in our own, new house, I want to have some sort of a promotion at my company, maybe preggo or trying and hopefully will have put a substantial dent in my student loan debt.

FI would like to find a full-time teaching position, I'd like to finish grad school and we'd like to buy a house.

Fiance will be heading off to training for the state troopers for 6 months. Then we are going to buy a house and the fiance a decent vehicle.

good question!

we just bought a house so we are super excited to live in together, as we have never lived with anyone before. I'm hoping to get a better job or be able to pursue my photography career full time. we definetly don't want a baby until 4 years from now!!
