WE"RE MARRIED! PiP

We had the most perfect weekend for our Saturday wedding! Friday started out warm and sunny, then the wind and clouds came. But by Saturday, the sun was back out and the clouds dispersed. The wind stayed. I had stayed alone Friday night while H (!) stayed with his BM for the night. We did have breakfast together and took a walk into town, and then met with the dj.

Hair and make up arrived to the hotel at 11 and I was sequestered in my room until 4:30. But I had a view of the ceremony location and was able to watch the set up and people arriving. I wasn't feeling stressed, but definitly overwhelmed! I was also super nervous! About 3:45 my photographer showed up and we took some pictures and I got into my dress shortly after. Next thing I knew, it was time to head down (and we were running a little late...15 mins...but they couldn't start without me!).

I nearly started hyperventilating before I walked out, but once I was going down the aisle (my dad held my hand in some weird death grip instead of me with my arm hooked into his), I felt a little more relaxed. The officient screwed up the ring part (he was a little slow and stoped when he wasn't supposed to), but it all went fine and lasted maybe 10 minutes!

When we came back from our photos, we were introduced, and the dj messed up a little from our intro song to our first dance. But it was all okay! The night went by fast and everyone ate, danced, and had a great time! We were actually the last ones to leave as we bid everyone a good night and thanking them for coming. I didn't want to go to sleep that night because it meant the day was over! It was so much like being in a dream!

We don't get photos for about 8 weeks (and on her blog in maybe 4 weeks)...so here are a few that were taken.

(the view from our room...wish that I had taken a pic the day of with people arriving!)

If I can give anyone some advice, is take 5 minutes to yourself and look yourself in the mirror when that dress is on. I wanted so badly to have these 5 minutes to collect myself before the whirlwind began, but somehow, it wasn't to be. I also didn't get a chance to even see myself fully once my dress was on.

Also, if you did a alot of DIY, I would label EVERYTHING so whoever is setting up, knows what to do with it. Also, provoide pictures. My coordinator appreciated it and there were no questions of how thngs were supposed to look. I got alot of compliments on the decor! Even the coordinator complimented me!

Try to relax, eat (which I did not), and have an amazing day....it's going to go by in an instant!
