Looking to Get Married In Hilton Head SC in October

Hello Girls-
I am newly engaged....and looking to get married in Oct. in Hilton Head 
We are going to rent a beach house and just get married right out on the beach
We are working on a budget so I was wondering if you all could send me names of ppl you are using
Also any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated!!

1.) rentals
2.) photographer/videographer
3.) cake 
4.) hair places

 once i start getting some info i will make sure to pass it on to everyone else..

    I'm getting married in HHI in September, although i'm not much help for your questions.

    My venue (the Dunes House in Palmetto Dunes) supplies all items, so i don't need rentals. My sister is making my cake, but if i were getting it there, i'd go with Signe's. My photographer is bellerougestudio.com. I haven't picked a hair place yet.

    I love Hilton Head.  I've been to 2 different weddings there and loved them both.  I'd recommend Chi Photography out of Charleston.  Worked well with my budget.

    Great time of the year to get married there and usually the rental and hotel prices drop off as well.

    We aren't using any rentals, we are getting married at Berkeley Hall, they provide everything.
    We are using IWL photography, they have been great to work with and are a great couple that does wonderful work.
    We are getting our cake from Signe's. It is SOOOO good!
    I'm doing my hair at Tara's. It is just off the island, but really nice people to work with!

    I'm actually going to a wedding on HHI in Sea Pines on Friday- when I come back I'll let you know what/who they used. I'm not sure who the photographer/salon/etc; is yet!

    i have jotted down all the ideas so far.  I am going to start researching and will let you all know what i find

    how about florist...or are you all doing your own flowers...i was thinking of doing that

    i'm thinking of doing my own flowers too. i don't need many - and a wedding consultant friend pointed me to fiftyflowers.com. oh and plus my mom used to be a florist. :)

    not for sure yet either....
    i think it will depend on what kind of flowers i want...i am having 4 attendents
    have you ever thought of going to like the local groceries and getting a price on some flowers and asking them to order extra for you???

    where are you getting married??

    well i have noticed that the fresh market (and even the piggly wiggly) usually have a pretty good supply of flowers... but no i hadn't thought of *asking* them to order. heck it's worth a shot.

    i'm getting married at the Dunes House - little burger joint with a giant deck right on the beach in palmetto dunes. perfect for us - that's exactly where we vacation every year.

    does anyone know of a good cake place...i was looking for maybe someone who does it out of there home or something...
    looking for a small simple cake for 250 or less...

    Hi - I want to recommend Joyous Occasions for hair and make-up.  Joy Ross is the hair and make-up stylist, her salon is located in Bluffton and does on location hair and make-up for the day of your wedding.  She has been doing this for years and I know she books up fast.  She will do a free consultation with complimentary wine and cookies!! She was able to duplicate any hair style I showed her!!!  Her number is 843-338-1530 and email is styleit202@aol.com.  It is obvious that she cares about the customer and her work and is very accommodating!!  I give her an A+++!!!!
