Has anyone bought a ring at the Elizabeth Diamond Company in Dayton, OH?

I was looking at some Tacori rings today at Elizabeth Diamond company today and I was wondering if anyone else has bought a e-ring or wedding band here and what did you think about the place? Are the people trustworthy, do they provide good service after the jewerly is purchased?

Thanks,

My fiance bought my Tacori wedding band and engagement ring there. Of course he bought the wrong size, resized it when I made a casual mention of my ring size, and then I ended up getting it resized a half size smaller to fit better. Each time we got it resized they did it for free and re-dipped it in the gold covering and shined and buffed it. It only took them a week to do it and they call you to come pick it up when its finished. They offer the cleaning, dipping, and buffing for free once a year after you buy a ring there. I actually had them adjust the length of one of my pearl bracelets as well and they did a really nice job. Overall, I would highly recommend them.

Make sure to compare prices, selection, warranty, etc to James Free Jewelers!! They also carry Tacori as well as a ton of other designers and their service is impeccable.

My e-ring and wedding band were purchased there.  I am thrilled with the e-ring -- it's a contemporary band with a big sapphire, and feel like it's unique.  The wedding band he chose wasn't my style, and I went back (alone) to discuss changing the style.  The staff was very helpful in exchanging it for another ring that I like much better.  It was made in the wrong size, though, and had to be re-sized.  They apologized for the sizing error, and got it fixed promptly.   In all, he'd made 3 shopping trips while deciding on the unique ring, and then we made 3 more stops in to get it all correct, but I'm very happy with the rings themselves, and would recommend them.

I've never been there, but I have friends who have.  They said the service was nice, but not as good as James Free.  FWIW, I love James Free and don't want to go anywhere else.  I believe they sell Tacori, and as PP said, their service is impeccable.

A friend bought an e-ring there and raved about the service.  I mentioned it to FI, so that's where he bought mine.  My parents upgraded their wedding bands and got my mom an anniversary band, and they got my mom's rings there.  My dad's came from Stafford, and it was a nightmare trying to get what he ordered.  FI's best friend just bought his wife a Mother's Day present there, and he was also impressed with the service.  We bought our wedding rings there on Monday, and my mother is having them restring her mother's pearls into a bracelet fo rme.

In December I went in to James Free Jewelers on Far Hills Ave. and spoke to them about purchasing a Tacori Ring. I was told by their rep that although they are not an authorized Tacori dealer, they can get Tacori products. I insisted on purchasing the Tacori and he gladly excepted my $800 deposit on the ring. He told me the cost of the ring would be $3600. He also told me the ring would be in by the end of January. I waited for about a month before speaking with the rep on the last week of January. He finally admitted to me that he could not get the ring. His exact words were, “Jon, I am sick about this. One of our competitors found out about it and they freaked out. I will be unable to get you the ring you wanted but I have another ring that I think you will like.” I intend to get my $800 deposit back on Monday and I hope that James Free does not sell anymore Tacori products. Although my salesperson was very honest and ethical I feel that it is unethical for James Free to sell black market tacori merchandise that they are not authorized to sell. Not to mention, the warranty from tacori is voided if you buy tacori products from James Free or any other non-authorized tacori dealer.

So I visited the tacori website to see if there were actually authorized dealers in the area. Turns out, the only authorized dealer was Elizabeth Diamond Co http://www.shopedc.com located in Centerville. My experience at Elizabeth Diamond Co was amazing. They were extremely knowledgeable and were able to me in picking out the perfect Tacori ring. They kept every single promise made and my ring came in exactly when they said it would. I absolutely love my tacori ring, thanks EDC.
