Occasions in New Hope

Hi there!

Anyone out there get married at Occasions in New Hope, PA?  We planning on doing our ceremony on their patio outside in May 2011.  I am looking for decorating ideas!

Please help!

    I don't really have any decorating ideas, but I am getting married at Occasions on May 14, 2011. My ceremony is at a church though. I love the venue, its different (which I liked). Which direction will the seats be in the patio area?

    I'm also having my reception at Occasions on November 21 this year. It'll be too cold to have anything outside but we are decorating out there anyway. its a gorgeous patio area. We're doing lanterns up the stairs and around the fountain and we'll definitely have sparklers outside for when we leave.  Inside we're using candles and more lanterns to make everything candle lit and romantic.  I love how modern the place is and I'm really excited to have our reception there! It'll be really pretty for you ladies next year. 

    If I were doin the ceremony there I would want to stand in front of the fountain outside and put the chairs in rounded rows in a semi circle around you. I didn't like the idea of doing a ceremony inside because you'd have to make people exit a room to set it up.


    Question for you ladies......  are you having children at Occasions? I can't decide what to do with them.

    Lovebug - Laterns is a gret idea! I have not thought much about decorating outside yet to be honest.

    And yes we will have children there. It is kind of hard to avoid because my FI is the second oldest of like 20 grandchildren. So most of his first cousins are younger, some are teens but some are under 10. It was hard to avoid. Although I would have liked to not have any kids! If some of his aunts and uncles do not want to bring their kids, I won't mind :)

    Love Bug...  I love your idea of the lanterns and the semi-circle seating! 

    Mandy...  We are not having any kids at our wedding.  We didn't want anyone under 21 years old.  This helps keep our guest list down and we are from the Bristol/Bensalem area and wanted our guests to just be able to relax and have a good time eating and drinking at our wedding.  We didn't want them to have to worry about their kids while they were there.

    I love that Occasions is different too!  I think I was just feeling overwhelmed with the decorating.  Thank you for your help!

    What are your colors?
