Catholic Priest Marry Outside?

I'm looking to get married outside in a south Jersey wine vineyard. Will a priest not marry outside the church? Are there other christian officiant options? I was raised Catholic, but my fiance wasn't.

I think it depends on your priest and what he's willing to do.  You'd probably have your best chance with someone you've known for a while & it shouldn't be an issue that your fiance's not Catholic.

You'll most likely have to attend a pre-cana class which could be a day or an entire weekend, and it's always best to check the classes to make sure you're not cutting it too close to the wedding.

    Good luck!

We are using Father Vincent J. Rumain...He is a Catholic Priest who retired from the church to practice counseling in the substance abuse field.  He is performing our Catholic Ceremony on the beach in Monmouth County. PM me if you would like some information.
