Wedding at The Wynn. Reception too?

Ok so...I have my heart set on the Primrose Court at The Wynn. I was thinking about the reception and was wondering if it  would be 'too much' to have it there as well or perhaps consider another venue.

Has anyone had or been to a wedding at The Wynn? What did you think?

Re: Wedding at The Wynn. Reception too?

  • Why can't I find any information about having a wedding at the Wynn online?  The only thing I find that is attacted to the Wynn website is a place to email for info.  I can't find pictures or anything!
  • Yes! Email them your info!! and within a day they send you all the info. Miss Darlene even called me to make sure I got the info and was more than willing to answer any questions I had. She will send you pics, check for availability, etc. She is absolutely awesome and their customer service was one of the main reasons we decided to go with The Wynn.

  • I was married at the Wynn and had my reception there. It was amazing. Let me know if you have any questions!

Hi, do you mean "too much" in a budget sense? If yes, it all depends on the guest list.
I personally adore the Wynn so I don't think you can go wrong with it, whether you're considering an in-suite or a restaurant reception. If you click on the Knottie List in my siggy, there's another past Wynn bride's bio you can check out, her name's downtownbebebrown. She was just recently married and had an amazing experience. If you ask your WC to get you in touch with all the various restaurants and events departments at the Wynn you will get brochures with info, menus, prices and whatnot. So you can better choose among all the various ones.
I had an intimate in-suite reception in a Salon Suite. A more detailed review is in my bio.
    Happy planning!
  • I am getting married at the Wynn and having my reception there in March 2012.  Let me know if you have any questions.
  • I sent a request for infor and it just links me back to the Wynn homepage with no information!
  • I am getting married at the Wynn in April.  I am doing a two hour reception at La Cave followed by a two hour double decker bus trip to Fremont Street.  I am extremely pleased with the Wynn so far. I have been working with both Kabbie on the chapel details and then Linda from the Wynn restaurant group.  They are both very responsive and helpful. I have found that although the Wynn can be expensive, they really are great at working with you and your budget.  Moreover, you are getting the extra quality with the little bit higher price tag.
My fiance and I love this property, so we opted to go with a wedding of 50+ and then have just a cocktail reception after with heavy hors d'oeuvre and dessert rather than a formal reception.  Speaking of dessert, if you are a little on the non-traditional side (like me :)) they have some fantastic options for desserts from doing beignet stations to custom mini dessert stations. I will be sure to post reviews after. Happy planning!
  • JVLaura - are you booking out La Cave for your reception? We are thinking of booking Primrose for the reception to (@ $1500 p/h!!!!) because we wanted somewhere private where the kids can run around and we can have a bit of a dance... if La Cave has a private space... maybe that will work for us? We will be a group of about 50-60too!
  • Call restaurant events! 702-770_2251 the staff is amazing! Last Cave is my fave restaurant in the whole hotel!
  • I'm getting married there in 20 days!!!! Our reception will also be at the hotel in one of their ballrooms. We have been working with someone from catering but I can get you an email address from someone I spoke with about the restaurant receptions :) pm me!!
