I have no idea why this is giving me so much anxiety. The dress didn't bother me, even, but for some reason every time I think of my veil I get nauseated. That's probably not a good sign, is it? To me, my veil is so much more important that my dress, and I have no idea why. THIS is what is making me a bride, and I want it to be right. So I need my retro/vintage ladies' opinions.
I have officially decided to wear my FI's mum's and nan's veil. Here's a picture of it. It's basically a large circle that can be pinned on the head wherever in order to make a blusher or not. I also have the option of wearing the matching orange blossom (wax) headpiece from the 40s.

I have decided not to wear that headpiece, but rather, I would like a floral fascinator just behind my ear. And I just bought the first bit of this DIY fascinator! Some millinery flowers from the 1930s.

So here's the question. Should I wear the blusher of the vintage veil, or a birdcage veil?
Here's how the veil looks behind the hair with a fascinator and headband (no birdcage). So the blusher would be able to be pulled up and over the head for walking down the aisle.

Or....
Here's a picture of another floral fascinator and headband WITH a birdcage veil (you just have to imagine the longer veil under the hair in this one). Also this birdcage veil netting diamonds are a bit wide.
