Venue warning: Taylor Mansion

just want to give brides a heads up about how unprofessional the owners and staff are at Taylor mansion. My family friend whom my mom and I are planning their wedding has been through heck with them. They promise one thing and then go back on their word(in emails) and have been extremely unprofessional in responses. In a final meeting today one of the owners literally stood up and threw an envelope at the bride. Please for your sanity avoid this venue. Your wedding day should not be stressful. Love, a Dfw knottie :-)

They were my first tour when I started looking for venues. They didn't anwer questions when I asked. And there are people living in the house. A little outrageous in my opinion.
Don't go there. They are super over priced for the little amount that they offer.

An envelope?? Could have been worse I guess. Thank goodness it was just paper thrown.

    Thanks for the heads up!

I had similar issues as well!  They seemed too good to be true.  They said one thing, then took it all back.  So inconsistent, deceptive, and Troy seemed completely oblivious to detail.  Don't get me started on the chef and owner Traci.  Just a heads up, I wouldn't go there.  Grateful we are no longer having our wedding there.  I am the bride that actually got the check and contract thrown at her by the owner! So completely crazy!  Worst experience ever.
  • Oh wow, I actually have a tour scheduled here today. Not sure if I should even bother now... :\
