Cake Info

I attended the bridal show in Austin this weekend and there were a lot of beautiful cakes.  The only one that tasted great was Cakes by Kathy.  I have been to two weddings over the summer where she did the cakes and they were moist as well as beautiful.  Made my choice very easy.

    I tasted hers as well. Super yummy! I think we're going to go with the "Nothing Bundt Cakes" options since it was really cheap and yummy. Cakes by Kathy was also pretty well priced.

    Her cakes do taste amazing.  Another couple DH and I are friends with used her in June and it was awesome.  The only reason we didn't use her is because we wanted a sculpted cake and I regret it now!

    I went to a friends wedding last month that used Cakes by Kathy as well and it was so delicious. I also had many samples of her cake at the bridal show last week and we're def. going with her as well.

    Margo- according to the info I got at the bridal show last wkend, traditional flavors are $2.50 a serving, $2.75 for non traditional.

    Margo - If you are looking for a baker that is budget friendly try My Cake World, they start at $1.50 for traditional cakes!
