Praise - I played in 2 concerts yesterday, the first of which was at a residential services home (for adults of all ages with disabilities), and the second was an orchestra concert in the community. Both went well, the audiences were pretty great, and while I'm very tired today (especially after last night's news about Bin Laden), I'm very thankful to God for days like that where he shows me how awesome He is!

Praise - I had to miss church choir yesterday morning due to pre-marital counseling with the FI and the pastor, but the counseling session was really great and we're going to start reading Dave Ramsey's book "Total Money Makeover" for our second reading. FI is still finishing the first book we were given, so I'm going to start on the Ramsey book first. Oh, and I got nice messages from the women in the choir who really missed my being there. Made me feel wanted!

Prayer - we have around 30 more days of school left and I'm going to push through each and every day as best as I can. Busy work, games, films relevant to our in-class work, and an American Idol style music critique are just the few things at the top of my list to keep the kids busy. I have GOT to push through this week, class by class, day by day.

Prayer - My foot doctor has ordered a prescription orthotic for my foot to continue to heal (it went through 2 stress fractures, 2 casts, 2 immobilizng boots, and a knee cart instead of crutches). I feel like I've injured it again, so I'm going to go to the medical supply store and buy another boot to wear for a while, at least at school, so I don't accidentally damage the bone any further. The swelling is up, too. Doc says to just wait for my appt. to come in to pick up the orthotic. Gotta try to be careful! No zumba tonight, however. Makes me sad! :-(

Prayer: I hit the one month mark on Wednesday. Hypersensetive has become my middle name because I'm getting upset over little things and sweating the small stuff. I know it will come together but it just seems like no one really wants to help.
Fi and I are trying to come up with money to come down for my MOH's wedding at the end of July. I'm nervous about traveling alone so I'm praying that there will be money for both of us to make the trip down.

Praise: Fi got a job in NC. It's a transfer from his current job to a branch in NC. I'm not too sure on details like if it's part or full time but hey, a job is a job!

Praise: My FI is home NEXT WEEK! and we get to talk again starting on may 8th (my bday!)

Prayer: i need to find a better job! i keep looking and looking and haven't found anything. i am trusting God that He has the perfect job out there for me. Please please pray i find something that i can start at least after the wedding.

Krystal, my friend and bridesmaid, has a very sick mother. Her mom, Barbara, has been fighting melanoma for the last few years and was rushed to the hospital this sunday. The doctors are saying that they can make her comfortable, but there's really nothing else to do. Please pray for their family during this difficult time.

Prayer: I've been having "fun" with my emotions the last couple of days. I know it's because of lack of sleep, but I'm trying my best to get to bed a decent hour. It's finals week so I anticipated this happening, but not to this extent.

I'm overly sensitive. Either I'm crying or I'm really mad. I would like to be really happy, but that hasn't happened yet. I know God is bigger than what my reactions and what I'm feeling, so could you pray for them? Thanks, ladies

Praise: My parents went to church with me for the first time in about 6 months. It was great having them with me in church. My family has been through some really tough times this past year and seeing us together again in church was a feeling I can't describe!

Prayers: My brother deploys May 19 so if anyone would add him to your prayer list, myself and my family would greatly appreciation. He truly is my hero for serving and protecting our country.

You're all in my prayers! Praise: I finished my spring semester of school today! I have this summer, the fall, next spring and then student teaching left. I can't wait to be done! Praise: my best girlfriend and MOH was just told she does not have ovarian cancer. The DR said that ovarian cancer was likely but the biopsy came back negative! Prayer: While MOH doesn't have ovarian cancer, she does have to get her left ovary out May 16. She will be in the hospital 3-5 days and is very nervous. Not to mention she is nervous about her chances of having a baby! Please keep her in your prayers. Prayer: FI is currently looking for a teaching job and could REALLY use some prayers. He's so unhappy at his retail job and we also could really use a steady income. Thanks ladies!

Prayer: My FI's dad just left for Iraq today. His company works for the military. He definitely will be there for 2 months, but then he might be transferred to Afghanistan which means he would miss our wedding. Please pray he'll stay safe.
