Photographer - Multicultural Weddings?

I posted this over on the South Asian board as well, but I figured who else knows NJ, but fellow NJ brides :)

I wanted to see if any of the lovely ladies here have any recommendations or suggestions for photographers based in NJ or even NY that "specialize" in photographing a multicultural wedding?

My fiance is Irish/Italian and is quite pale, so I want to be sure that our wedding photographer is prepared to deal with the differences in our skin tones (I am more of a medium brownish gal).  Of course it will also be helpful the the photog is versed in the Hindu wedding ceremony so they can capture all the right moments.

I'd love to hear any suggestions you might have!

Thanks!

John Arcara was my photog and he seems to shoot quite a few Indian Weddings. There are some really great pics on his site of a few of them.

I am going to have a simple wedding in 3 weeks, and I like to find a photographer who likes to offer free service as enrich his experience or offer lower price below $1000.
I appreciate it if any recommendations. Thanks. Summer

I don't want to get slammed because he's MH but he does specialize in multicultural weddings.

Karen Wise does a lot of Indian weddings.  http://www.karenwise.com

My photographer (Shawn Connell) recently shot an amazing cross-cultural (Egyptian/American) wedding: http://www.christianothstudio.com/#posts/17-Plaza-Cross-Cultural-Splendor-New-York  (BTW, I'm obsessed with the bride's dress.)

But really, any good and experienced photographer should be able to compensate for differences in skin tone exposure.  It is tricky so I understand your concern -- but a lot have done it, even if they don't "specialize" in it.

Thanks for the other recommendations! They all look incredible! Now to send out requests for info :)

UpperEast - I agree that any good, experienced photographer will be able to compensate for the differences in skin tone exposure, but it's always good if they've had previous experience :) (and that wedding your photog shot was gorgeous!)

As said before, any great photographer should be able to shoot a multicultural wedding.  I love Ashley Therese Photography! Ashley is great!  www.ashleytheresephotography.com/"> http://www.ashleytheresephotography.com/
