American Horror Story (spoilers) (I'm a PW today, sorry)

What'd you guys think of the season premiere?

I finally got to watch last night and I have to say, I was NOT impressed. There was so much going on that I couldn't keep track of it all. Aliens? Weird animal living outside? Scary guy with the fucked up face at the end that scared the living shlt out of me? 

It was just TOO much, IMO.

    I didn't watch the first season really, so I don't have too much to compare it to.  I agree there was a lot going on in this first episode though. I didn't like the whole alien thing, I think it was too much. I prefer it not go down the sci fi path.  I can't seem to help that though.  It was interesting and it's something to watch on a Wednesday night.

    I only watched the first half, and I thought it was pretty good. I'll have to watch the rest.
    But the first season had a lot of stuff going on, especially toward the end. It's like Lost but with scary things.
