Through volunteering at a charity bridal shop in a nearby city, I met this amazing woman who makes fabric and leather handbags.  When a veil or dress came in too trashed to sell, she'd salvage the embellishments and trim to use on handbags and jewelry (she had one leather clutch with a jeweled bow from a Pnina Tornai dress that was amazing).

I asked her a while back if she would scale down one of her bags for me to give to my bridesmaids as a gift. 

She just posted the first bag in the design on her blog and I love it!  She wanted to name it after me, but I was hesitant (my name given name is long), so she named it the Claire (my shorter, middle name).

    I am making them a gift bags from VP with a pearl bracelet they are wearing for the wedding, a scentsy plug in with their favorite scent and something else.

    Super cute. I got my BM clutches with their initials monogramed on them and a compact mirror with their names engraved on them. I also got them the necklace I want them to wear for the wedding. I still need to get them all earrings though. I plan on using the clutch to wrap the other gifts in.

    That is adorable! I love it!

    So far, I got them a teal pashmina, a bracelet( The bracelet is NWR) and I am looking for something else to get them I am not sure yet.

    I got my BM's totes with their names on them that I will embellish. We are also getting them flip flops that match their dress, a manicure kit, a necklace for the wedding and I am putting in a framed picture with just her and I in it along with a letter about how great they have been.

    Love those clutches!
