Florist Prices

I apologize in advance - I feel like this topic is overdone, but I can't find any of the past posts.

Around what price would you expect to pay for flowers? The reason I'm wondering is that I went to a florist with what I thought was a reasonable budget, and although she said she could work with it, I got the sense that she thought it was way low and now I'm afraid my arrangements will be very tiny.

My venue gives some $$ toward flowers, so basically in all my budget is $1400. I will need 1 bridal bouquet, 3 bridesmaids, 8 boutonnieres, flower girl petals, 10 centerpieces, and a few flowers for the cake. The flowers that I like are in season at the time and not that expensive. I know that prices can vary a lot but she made it sound like all of my money will be spent on the bouquets and that all I will have for the centerpieces is the money from the venue ($400).

What do you think? If you have recommendations for florists located in Bucks County, I will check them out, but I hesitate to book anyone who isn't familiar with my venue, because I think it really helps with understanding the look I'm going for.

Thankssss!

Estimate about $150-180 for bride bouq, $50-75/ea for BMs, $8-12/ea for bouts, $10 for petals.....

You should have plenty of $ left over for centerpieces.

Call London Creative Florist. 215-634-0505.   Almost no florist can match their prices.  They don't have a website and are located in NE Philly.

I paid around $800 for 1 bridal, 6bms, 1jr bm, 10 bouts, 2 altar arrangements, 2 mother's bouquets, and 3 small rose arrangements for my catholic mass.

My flowers are going to be $950.  I'm getting my bridal bouquet (135), 5 bridesmaides bouquets (75 each), flower girl orchid ball (40), 9 bouts (10 each), 3 wristlets (35 each), 2 for the church (85 each), throw away bouquet (25) and dedication to Blessed Mother (15).

My place is Celebrations Design Group... they're located in Crum Lynne and Claymont Delaware, but they will travel. Hil's prices are very similar to the prices I was given.  They're also used to doing events.  One of the big venues in Delaware is Harry's Savoy Grille... and Celebrations is their florist.

www.celebrationsdesigngroup.com. If you're going to check them out, I recommend calling rather than doing their online "check us out and fill out this form" thing.

Do you want low or high centerpieces?

I had almost exactly the same order and I used Infinitely Yours in Bensalem.  I believe my total came to just under $1500-- the only difference is I had two large arrangements for the alter during the ceremony.

if you need a further breakdown of my costs, etc, you can email me at HonestlyOK613 at gmail.com
