My wedding colors are purple and I really wanted glitter heels but just couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. SO, I decided to try glittering some shoes myself. I was really happy with the results and wanted to share them with everyone incase someone wanted to try it!
Materials:
Glitter (ultra fine)
Tacky glue
Sponge brush
Sealing spray
Masking tape
Shoes - mine were black (i got mine at goodwill for $7!)
First, I taped off the inside and underside of the shoe that way I wouldn't get any glue on them. I mixed some tacky glue and some glitter to make a glittery paste. Then I covered the shoe with the paste. After this, sprinkle and coat more glitter all over the shoe and tap off any excess glitter. Let it dry for about 10 minutes and then spray it with the sealing spray. (I put a couple coats of spray through the drying process) Let them dry for about 12 hours. Remove the tape. ENJOY!
