my b/f and i had been planning our wedding for some time, so i've been on the boards for a few months....but he offcially asked me yesterday.

he made a scavenger hunt for me: taking me to places around the city that had significance to us. it ended at navy pier (where we met) with him waiting for me one on knee. he told me he came to chicago 7 years ago looking for a better life. we met at navy pier and i gave him the better life he was looking for. he said he wanted everyone to know that i was his, and asked me to marry him...

we both cried a lot, but it was incredibly heartfelt and romantic...
