White Cheese Dip?

DH and I just moved from Nashville, TN to Dallas/Ft. Worth.

I don't know anywhere here that sells white cheese dip (restaurants)... do you?? 

I'm craving it.

    I'm thinking you're meaning what queso? I know Don Pablo's has it.

    Hah! I went to college in Arkansas, so I actually know what you are talking about! I've seen Stoby's white queso sold in the refridgerated section (like where the cream cheese is) at my Wal-mart, but I can't think of any restaurants. GL!

    LOL... in TN, everything is cheese dip - no one really ever calls it queso!  I've noticed that in TX, though, and yeah, I do mean queso :)

    oh... yum! I had some for the first time over the holidays while visiting my inlaws in GA. Now, I'm craving it too!

    OOh it is super delicious!!  There was a place in San Antonio that had THE BEST ever.

    I can't think of a single place that has it here though.   I did see some in the supermarket though, but I bet it isn't as good.

    Tiffany,  what was the brand name? My SIL buys some at Sams in GA.. I don't have a Sams card though, so I don't know if they sell it at Sams here.

    Oh gosh, Nae I wish I could remember.... I want to say Old El Paso or one of the more common regular store queso brands.  It was right on the chip aisle at Walmart in a pretty small plastic bowl with a cardboard label around it.

    I'm not sure if that helps too much....

    I know what you're talking about.  That stuff is goooood.

    Sams in FW doesn't sell it (sad), but Costco in Nashville did.  I don't know about here, though.

    Try the Queso Blanco at Blue Mesa!  I think it's similar to what you are talking about. They even have a recipe on their website for it.  One of my friends made it and it was great!
