Too often the negative is shared and not the positive so I wanted to share something that FI just did.
We got engaged in Greece during a long vacation on 6/25/09 so it will be one year next Friday. A couple weeks ago, he asked for my pics and said he was thinking about making a video of the engagement for the reception. So last night he showed me the DVD and said it was a gift to me also for the 1 year mark (other plans on 6/25 so...).
He condensed 5 hours of video and 500+ pictures into a 30 min recap of the proposal and vacation and set it all to music. I am not an emotional person by any means but it made me tear up. He did such an incredible job with it.
