Avon Skin so Soft worked great when I was a kid.  Do you eat garlic?  If so, add more to your diet.  If not, get garlic pills...garlic in the system seems to keep the little buggers away.  I've heard the new Off fan thingy works pretty well.  I always use the regular Off or similar brand bug spray.  I just look for the one with the highest DEET concentration. DEET is not that great for you in large quantities or for a prolonged length of time (ie - dont spray the stuff in your face or mouth on a regular basis), but DEET is the main chemical that keeps the biters away!  I hate biting bugs, good luck!

DItto on the Skin So Soft!! I also use Off, there is this kind that is in a clear bottle with an orange lid that is "tropical" (I'm out of it at the moment or I could tell you the exact name). It seems to work really well for us, plus I LOVE the smell of it! Yell I get eaten alive if I don't put bug spray on a couple times throughout the day during bug season!

My doctor told me that being a mosquito magnet is genetic. He said studies have shown that many things contribute to being a mosquito magnet, like cholesterol and uric acid levels. I believe it too...my mother, grandma and great grandma are/were mosquito magnets too!
