I'm thinking of changing my theme....

Ok so I love peacocks because they have always been a source of inspiration for me but as I get more into planning I'm not sure I want a peacock "themed" wedding. Mostly I want an elegant, romantic wedding. I love my colors but every almost every peacock item I see is too much peacock.

So now I'm thinking do I change my theme? Or do I even need a theme at all? I could always just incorporate a few feathers here and there.

    I dont think a theme for a wedding is really necessary. I chose colors I like, but dont have a theme. I think it is perfectly fine to just incorporate some feathers here and there.

    I agree with PP, it's more about the colors then the theme.  I love peacock colors :)

    We don't have a theme. Our wedding is going to be a mix of elegant and fun and quirky. We decided our "theme" is just going to be an eclectic mix of "us". Lots of nods to summer camp, road trips, national parks and baseball. I say stick with your colors, throw a few feathers in and toss the theme if you want to. You don't need one by any means.

    I agree with PP's, I don't have a theme. My mom said everyone keeps asking her "what's the theme?" and she never knows what to say, lol. I guess our "theme" is romantic, that's what I'm going for. To showcase us, our love, and our families. We are going to have tons of pictures of us, pics of us growing up on every table, our e-shoot pics, pictures of our parents and grandparents on their wedding days, etc. But I wouldn't call it a theme. Just focus on your colors and have fun with it. :)

    We don't have a theme either. We picked colors and are just using that as our "theme" I guess. I don't even think we really have much of a direction the wedding will go. We're trying for just a really fun party with good food, music and a photobooth.

    We also don't have a theme. To be honest we are not even a 100% set on our colors, we've picked purple, green and white/ivory for now, but if we change something along the way I won't be too upset about it. :)

    I think I was stuck on a theme because of what I do for a living but I'm going to stick with my shades of purple, greys, and ivory with a touch of peacock blue. I need to think of it more as a concept and not a theme. Thanks for your help :)
