Okay now that I have replaced my laptop, I have a little more motivation to post on here. It was getting rough from my cell.
I need some input if any of you ladies can offer some.
Last Friday, we did a mockup of my reception tables. Navy tablecloths, white napkins, silver chargers, glass plates, glasses, and the silverware plus the all-white centerpieces and some votives.
I hated it! It looked like a business banquet set up or something. I realized that I have way too much personality for what I saw on those tables and I thought the centerpieces were ugly. The florist put too much greenery in them...my idea of what it was supposed to look like was no where near the finished product. I thought green flowers or leaves would be in there...not a bunch of foliage and sparse flowers.
I need to figure out what to do with the flowers (as in what colors they should be) and tables. We have gold chargers that I'd like to use since the venue has gold chiavari chairs available for us to use.
I'm two steps away from becoming a peacock bride, but I love navy with plum and pink as well. I need to figure this out like yesterday. I'm 6 weeks away y'all. We meet the florist again on Saturday morning so I need to be able to take her exact pictures of what I want!
Which of these (if any) do you like best and do you have any pictures or suggestions that you can share?
I am not a huge fan of roses, but I'm thinking that roses and hydrangeas will have lots of color options and will give the tables a much needed pop. I am liking dahlias and callas too. What to do, what to do? I can't focus right now because I'm so upset the original plan is down the tube.
