Milton Hoosic Club

Does any one know how much the rental fee is for the Milton Hoosic Club in Milton, MA? And for that matter, has anyone attended a wedding there?

It is very reasonable-if memory serves something like $2400 and I believe they have tables and chairs.  You bring in your own caterer.  Very nice Homey atmosphere.

I can send you the e-mail I have from them if you would like, it has all their rental info in it.  The fee for a Saturday evening wedding is 2950.

My sister had her reception there about 10-years ago. I do like the flexibility you get when you use them. You can bring your own decor and everything and it has a nice area for changing and such. You also bring in your own caterer like pp said. They allow you to set up the night before if there are no events being held there which can save time.

Since I planned the wedding, I had 2 issues with them though.
    1. Parking was a nightmare!!! We had about 400-guests and granted, that's a lot but still, there is only on-street parking.
    2. There's nowhere to take nice pictures there. I grew up in Milton and that neighborhood has a lot of shading/trees around. So you'd have to take your pictures somewhere else before you get there. The only reason I didn't like that is cause I only got to take ONE picture with my sister that entire day and there were leaf shadows in the picture. Was not happy about that :-(.

Other than those 2 things above, it was a good experience. I was looking at them for our traditional Nigerian ceremony but decided to go with somewhere else due to the parking issue.

I just recently looked there. I didn't love the location. I think you love it or hate it. I've heard that it's a great place to work with, but as stated earlier, the parking is an absolute nightmare. The lack of parking really sealed the "do not book" deal for us.  Also, you're looking out from the patio to other houses. I didn't think there was a ton of privacy.

That being said, my friend's sister got married there and she loved it. Also, the coordinator person was super, super nice.

I just booked with them and couldn't be happier!!! We are getting married in the winter, so this location was ideal (close to the church and we weren't too concerned about the outside areas/patio). The inside ballroom is gorgeous... hardwood floors with large chandeliers and big stage, 3 fireplaces, plenty of spaces inside to have cocktails in some rooms and the the dinner/dancing in the ballroom. The managers there have been great to work with, including workig within our budget (we were able to negotiate given we are having it in February). The website does NOT do it justice, but I'd be happy to email you pictures I took when I went to visit if you're interested... email me at alischwartz84@gmail.com. I also have their info for the bar service (which is through them, not the caterers). My co-worker was married there in a summer month and she had nothing but wonderful things to say, as well... they utllized the outdoor terrace for cocktail hour. Good luck with your search!
