Rehearsal Reception in Georgetown or nearby?

Hi,
I am interested in holding a drop-in reception instead of a formal rehearsal dinner.  All of my guests are staying in Georgetown from out of town so ideally it would be in that general area.  I don't want anything too fancy.  I want to cover drinks and maybe some appetizers for 2-3 hours for maybe 30 ppl.  Does anyone have ideas on places that maybe have a private (ish) area and won't break the bank?

    How casual are you thinking? There is a private upstairs space at the Guards. We've gone for after work happy hours. They served up basic bar apps and it has its own bar. It's a good size for 30 or so.

    Have you found them easy to deal with at the daily grill?  I was thinking about selecting them but my Planner said they aren't very organized and are hard to deal with.

    We have only reserved the room so far.  We have not met with them to select the menu, drinks, etc.  So I am not sure.  Reserving the room and seeing the room we had no problem with. My Fiance is informed me that the first person we worked with in seeing the room no longer works there and now there is someone new who deals with the private parties.  So maybe it wont be so bad :) fingers crossed.
