  my personal opinion you should try on different one and see what you like best.  i think there are only rare occassions at that a certain type of veil doesn't "go" with a dress.  i think personal preference is key.
  
  try some on and take pictures of you wearing differnt ones, then look at the pictures side by side that way you get a real look of yourself and not a backwards mirror look.  or you can post some here, i am sure we can give you some opinions if you really want

  Ditto.  The only main "go with the dress" issue is the color (that is, you probably don't want white dress with ivory veil).  The consultants can help you with that, or wait till the dress comes in to find one to match.  Other than that I think it's just personal preference.  I thought I wouldn't know where to start but a consultant put some various styles / shapes / details on me, and I instantly got a better idea of what I like best.  Luckily veils should be much easier than dresses, cause you don't have to worry about fit!  Thank goodness!

  Thanks ladies for the advice. now i found a pic of one veil they tried on me at the salon (it is a satin corded veil i think).  What do you think?  Thanks for the input once again.

  i think it's pretty.... it's lovely and yet it doesn't compete with your dress.
