Affordable Alterations?

Hi all,

I bought my wedding dress online and now need to find someone to do the alterations. Does anyone have a recommendation for affordable alterations in the area (NoVa, DC, MD)?

    I'm going to Diana Adams in Glen Burnie.  She's only charging me $145 for all of my alterations!!! She's done a ton of dresses before and she works from home.  She definitely knows what she's doing!  You can find her on facebook and marylandseamstress.com!

    I'm using Roya Hashimi - located at Elegance Boutique on King Street.  She is great and also does gorgeous custom made items.  After a near heart attack during a consultation in Georgetown (the lady tried to tell me it would cost $800 to alter my dress - NO THANK YOU!), I set up a consultation with Roya and she was fabulous!!  I've also gotten a recommendation for Angie, but she was farther out than I wanted to travel for my alterations.

    How much should I expect to pay for alterations if I am ordering my wedding dress online?  I want to take this into consideration when ordering a dress.  Thanks!
