rehearsal dinner recs in rockland

Anyone have any suggestions of good places for a rehearsal dinner in lower Rockland (around Nanuet)?
My brother just had his rehearsal dinner last week at del'Arte in Orangeburg which was really nice, but I think that italian is too expected, I would rather a different type of cuisine (esp with my italian family who could probably cook better than any italian restaurant in rockland).

any ideas?
it would need to accomodate about 30

    I love Il Fresco, which is also Italian. But I like the food much better there. My parents had their 30th anniversary party there (about 20-25 people). It was wonderful.

    I'd say La Triestina which is also Italian but being that I'm a picky Italian and I absolutely LOVE their food its definitely a great option. It's where we are getting married.

    I grew up in Rockland and here are some of my faves in the surrounding areas:

    The Lighthouse (Piermont) Steak and Seafood
    O'Malley's (Nyack) Irish Fare - good steaks, chicken and seafood also
    Harbour House (Piermont) - Irish Fare - good steaks, chicken and seafood also
    The River Club (Nyack) - Fun mix of food with southern flare
    Pasta Cucina (New City) - Italian..one of my faves

    You can try Xavier's.

    We had ours at Il Fresco's in Orangeberg and it was perfect!  We had the upstairs room and the food was awesome.  My family is Italian too, but no one seemed to mind.
