Would you wear this?

I have this hat, and I really like it.  FI thinks it looks funny.

My hat is the same color, but I have a navy blue ribbon instead of the pink/red thing.

Will I get laughed at for wearing it in public?  I'm not known for my style, so I appreciate help. (No, that's not me in the picture.)

Re: Would you wear this?

  • SpecialK, hun. You are adorable.

The hat? The hat is...Well...let's see. It's...not as adorable as you?

  • I voted no.

That hat reminds me of the Easter bonnets we used to wear. Yours is just not a hard plastic material or whatever they use to make those things.

  • Well, I bet you are still adorable.

The hat just doesn't do anything for me.

  • I personally wouldn't wear it b/c I am not a big hat person. But I do wear a hat when I am at the pool or the beach. What are you wearing it for?
  • You're young....but not young enough to pull that off.

  • I'll give it to my niece.  She's been eyeing it anyway.  And she's six.

I got it because I burn really easy.  Norwegians are not known for their sun tolerance.  I usually wear a hat when I'm outside, and this one seemed like it wouldn't make my head sweat or leave a line on my forehead.
  • Sorry but it looks like something little kids and/or old grannies would wear.

  • You could send it to Mrs. B and she could have baby B model it for us.

That would be adorable.  On a tween it might look OK too.

  • Get one of those wide brimmed sunhats :)
  • That hat doesn't look like it provides all that much sun protection, if that's the goal.
  • I voted that I wouldn't wear it, but I definitely know people who could wear it and pull it off. If you're in your mid-2os with a hippie chick kind of style, wear it. If not, I probably wouldn't.

  • In all honesty, I don't think that hat would like right on anyone over the age of 5.

  • Thanks, Fishy.  It's not me in the photo, though.

I'll put it away.  Thanks, everybody.
  • I made one similar for a colleague's sister who was going through chemo....
