Good Morning!

Morning ladies!

Now that most of NC is thawed out, I hope you all have had a good week so far. It's Thursday = almost Friday :o)

What is everyone up to today?  I get to clean the house, which is in desperate need because I've been sick all week. I also might try to go ride, if I can stand the cold.

    Good morning! I'm back at work today after being out 2 days for a medical procedure that no fun! Everything looked normal though so that is good. Next week we are off of Monday for MLK. So with all that and the holidays I am not going to remember what is it like to work a full day.

    Good morning!  I'm getting ready to go see Olga this morning for the first time.  Can't wait to meet Ninja :)  After that I'm heading to Diamonds Direct to try and order my wedding band , and then visiting NC State to say congrats to an old professor who's retiring.

    Heading home to Charlotte late tonight because I have a phone interview in the morning!

    Glad to hear things looked normal!  Have a great extended weekend!
    I think DH and I might go window shop and have a date night on Monday.

    Well, we are out for our 4th snow day.  While our parking lot, and the main roads are fine, too many of those back roads are still a sheet of ice, so we are cancelled.  I am afraid we will be cancelled tomorrow too! Undecided

    I have an interview at Sylvan for part-time tutoring at 12:30, so I'm just looking forward to getting out of the house today! I also need to clean up around here.  Funny how only 2 people live here, myself included, yet it gets filthy so quick.

    I adopted a female kitten last night, so I've been up with her since 4:30! She's been a little sick to her stomach, so I've been with her.  She's sleeping now.  I'll spend the rest of my afternoon trying to get her and our other cat adjusted.  Needless to say, he is mad at me right now! Tongue out

    Unfortunately I didn't get to see Ninja, but I LOVED Olga and she's going to be done with my dress on Feb. 1 (for my April 30 wedding)!  Super fast and I'm so excited to see the dress actually fit!  Even with just pins it looked totally different.

    The professor is Dr. Johnston from the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering department.  Hopefully I'll get to see some folks from my undergrad too :)

    Beka, I was wondering the same thing! I don't know him either, but I couldn't help but wonder if it was my bio 101 teacher. He was precious and seriously the nicest man ever. My TA for the lab...that's another story.

    You girls have had more exciting days than me!!

    The movers arrived with our stuff today -- we are unloaded and about 60% unpacked... We are hoping to get the rest done tomorrow. Then we need to get to painting this weekend (I'm sure it'll be a several weekend project) since we both start work next week).  I have my first alterations appointment tomorrow -- we'll see how it goes!

    Lol @ painting. . . I've been wanting to do that for a while (ever since we moved in), but Im so indecisive about paint colors and we've def been here for 2 years now.
