High Grove Estate- Laurel Lake

Hello All! I am new to posting on the knot boards and I was wondering if anyone could help me out. We are looking into having our ceremony and reception at the High Grove Estate on Laurel Lake. We saw the pictures online and are in love with the whole tent aspect of the reception. We always wanted something simple, but didn't really have a place to do that. We are from Fayetteville, so we willl have to travel a bit, but thats ok. So anyway, getting off track. My question is, has anyone else had their wedding here or will be having their wedding here? Photos would be wonderful. But we are really in need of pricing help and if it is really as nice as it looks. Thanks! Cool

    I know that venue is gorgeous and it's very popular.  It books up really quickly, so if you're interested and you already have a date, I would call ASAP to see if it's still available.  I was very interested but it was booked for my date.  If you're open to other (similar) options, I would recommend The Sutherland (Wake Forest) and Hudson Manor (Wake Forest).

    If you e-mail them, they will send you a pricing package. I think I remember the average sized wedding there being around 15k...  I'm a seriously low-budget bride, I wish I could get married at the Highgrove! I'm so in love with their reception tent thing.

    It's gorgeous! I live right around the corner from there and we almost went there, but ended up somewhere else due to wanting a different style.

    There are a couple ladies on here that mainly lurk now, but they did have their weddings there and the pictures are fantastic!

    Def. email and call them. They set up tours that we were going to go to that was a day or so before a wedding and would have been able to see the tent up and set up with tables and what not.

    here are two brides from last year that got married there!  I actually went to Thomas and Bridget's wedding and it was gorgeous!  They did a brunch wedding.

    Thank you ladies for your help! i am also a budget bride to be quite honest, but I fell in love with the whole tent aspect of it all. Maybe I can find another venue that isn't that far from Fayetteville that has the same qualities. I have actually emailed them and called for like the last two days, but no one answers and I have yet to get an email answer. I guess I will keep trying. thanks again!!

    They're probably busy with the 4th of July weekend. I'd give them a couple days to return their calls. It's def. worth taking a look at in my opinion :o)
