  Try going to the Purple Shamrock if you're in Boston on April 4th.  You'll be able to hear a few bands that night.  Here's the link:

  Now and the Forevers is a FANTASTIC get down and boogy band.  I think they contract through Boston Event Works, and they go for $3500

  The Hank Agency hold wedding band shows, theres one coming up soon at The Grand Canal in Boston i think...
  we used Brick Park for ours and they were amazing....they even played a "DJ" set when they went on breaks and had really modern upbeat music.....they amde our reception really....

  Check out THEDONSROCK.COM.  they are a great band in the area,  not stop dancing, the play all top 40 rock 70s-now.. Johny cash- micheal jackson-jon mayer, led zep!
