My Future Father-In-Law needs some prayers

He's having surgery today. One of those "we wont know what we have to do until we get in there" kinds. It may be his gallbladder, but they aren't entirely sure. Please say a prayer that all works out!

I found out the surgery can take between 6 - 8 hours. Apparently my Fiance's mother misunderstood the Doctor when he was explaining the procedure (english is her 2nd language) so we were under the impression it was something routine. Now I hear its also something concerning his liver.

I'm stuck at work and wishing I was in the NYC hospital sitting and waiting with my fiance.

Thank you everyone! My Fiance called me and said that after 7 hours of surgery, they found a tumor and had to remove part of his pancreas. I guess his father's liver wasn't creating bile so he was unable to digest properly. Thank God all went smoothly!
