Catering - Help!

Hi everyone!This is my first post but I am starting to get desperate. I need some honest advice about catering in the Denver area. My fiance an I are planning a brunch reception - think pastries, fresh fruit, a waffle bar, coffee, tea, juice, etc. I am having a terrible time finding someone who will accommodate this menu. Has anyone else had a similar menu for there wedding, or are you planning on it? What caterer did you use? What was their price range? Am I crazy to want to spend less than $4000 on catering (for about 100 people)?Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    That sounds like a very high amount of money just for brunch. I did dinner for 100 for under $2500. If a caterer doesn't jump at the chance to create a new menu for you, I wouldn't use them. People who enjoy cooking, always love making new things. I would suggest you look at some other caterers. Check this guy out, I've heard nothing but good reviews: http://www.thefoodguy.net/

    We are doing a breakfast menu and I have quotes from over 20 different caterers, I got some up to $9000!  I have 2 or 3 that are under $5000, but it is for 150 people.  I can send you the quotes if you want, just send me your email address.  I am jennyfred at gmail.com  We are having a pretty big spread too, so you should definitely get under $4k.

    Cindy with Celebrations is Phenomenal! (720) 935-2024 Her packages start at like $7.99 per person. She did my dessert reception for less than $2000 for 200 people.

    I actually used a caterer in the Springs. It might be worth looking into and paying the travel fee if you can't find anything in Denver that is in your price range. GL!
