2 weeks ago I made an appt for a free bridal consultation at a salon in Lancaster. I managed to get one of the owners of the salon which is normally ideal since they are experienced and know your business is what keeps their shop running.
The consultation was last week. I went and had a good consultation. I put down a deposit and booked an appt for my hair trial which is scheduled for 9/7 (next tuesday!) and she penciled me in for my wedding morning.
Yesterday I get a call from the salon. The receptionist says "we have a little problem with your bridal appts that you scheduled. The girl who you had your consultation with is no longer with us." UM, WHAAAT???? Really, she is the owner!!! How does this happen?
It all seems very strange. I am still having my trial with someone else at the same salon who is very experienced but I am shocked that this happened. Odd.
I will post pics of the trial next week! Hopefully it goes okay. I'd also love to know what actually happened that the owner abruptly left.
