  Umm.. i dont really have anything. I can work on BM diy tank tops and somehow fix my laptop. Other than that we got nothin....oh we probably should find transportation and finalize ice cream truck contract. Octobers gonna be boring.

  This month we are:
  
  1)Meeting with Officiant
  2)Meeting with 2 potential Cake Vendors
  3)Meeting with 2 potential DJ/Lighting Companies
  4)Tasting with Caterer
  5)Site visit with Tent Rental Company
  6)Engagement Pictures(doubling as a trial for wedding hair/makeup)
  7)Continuing the search for a Wedding Gown :-)
  
  So hopefully we book our Officiant, Cake Baker, DJ/Lighting, Tent Rental, & Caterer all this month! At this point we have Venue, Florist, Photographer, Stationer, BM dresses picked(not ordering until next yr). That leaves ceremony harpist and videographer to book in the next couple of months (which I've already researched and contacted, just don't have the time to meet with them and book yet). And then once we have our engagement pics back we can finish up our wedding website and make our save the dates!
  
  It feels so good to type it all out!

  Well, we dont really have a month to month to do, however we are trucking along with things.
  
  Venue-Booked and deposit
  Ceremony Site-Booked and deposit
  Cake-Included in reception, picked out
  Food tasting-Done(it was awesome!!!)
  BM dresses-picked(for now) will order next year
  DJ-meeting with two this weekend
  Florist-Meeting with 2 this weekend
  Photographer-verbally booked, need a contract
  Have an idea of centerpieces
  Have idea for ceremony programs
  Have wedding favor jars
  Cake knife-bought
  Toasting glasses-Bought
  My dress-Not even gonna start looking til Feb
  Tuxes-will sign up in Feb, have place
  
  Need: ribbon for jars
  Need: candy for jars
  Need: FI ring
  Need: pick FG dresses and their stuff
  Need: wedding music(ceremony just gonna have CD, reception need play list
  Need: officiant
  Need: centerpiece items

  this is a good idea...we have all these lists as guidelines, but it's nice to be able to make my own personal checklist... I feel like I'm just overwhelmed with all the things TK and WW and everyone thinks I should be doing! So for October, focusing on a few key things:
  
  1. Deposit for caterer (in negotiations)
  2. Deposit for Photographer (in negotiations)
  3. Find a VRBO for our minimoon
  4. E-Pics

  I'm not QUITE to 9 months yet, but once I hit that I'll be...
  -ordering my dress (FINALLY after my 2 hits of used dress regret)
  -booking my dj and making the deposit.

  -slowing progress on diy projects here and there.

  Can't believe it's already 9 months!  I think it's going to be a quiet month... in some regards!  Here are my to-dos:
  
  -Order/print STDs
  -Finish gathering addresses (this is mostly on my mom and FMIL!)
  -Send STDs
  -Start making invites
  -A few DIY project here and there, but nothing's too pressing at the moment
  -Put deposit on a florist
  -Hotel block
