I brought my kitchen scale to work today.

I knew I had to pick up chicken to go on my salad, and I wanted to make sure I ate the right amount, so my scale came with me.

I did only use it at my desk though.  I was a touch too embarrassed to bring it into the lunch room.

    That's awesome.  Everyone at work thinks my snack drawer is out of control -- I have ziploc baggies of premeasured cereal, other snacks that have already been rationed out, granola bars, etc etc etc.  I have a whole drawer full of goodies, but it provides me with enough variety to find whatever I'm craving, without having to go to the vending machine!

    jholbel, in my snack drawer at work I currently have:

    • fruit cups
    • rice cakes
    • cashew butter
    • peanut butter
    • 94% fat free popcorn
    • oatmeal packets
    • special k bars

    You never know when the vending machine cravings will hit! It's better to be prepared! LOL

    I might be the slowest person in the world.
    It took amazon's 'frequently purchased with' list to remind me why I should be more careful about what I shop for online: an 'herb grinder' and small baggies.
    Doh.
    And my friend even mentioned there's already a hilarious article going around about things like that.
