Hi All!
I have been following the board for a little over a month now and I think its time to join in! You all have been so inspirational to keep going!
I started to get serious about losing weight on April 5th of this year, I'm not sure why that day but that was Day 1 of my journey. Working in an office and spending a large chunk of my day parked in front of a computer I had to get motivated. The wedding is Aug 25th and so far I've lost 10.5lbs through diet and exercise. I started at 169.5 and am down to 159, it feels good to say it outloud!
I've used MFP since the beginning and I've noticed that helps A LOT. Also, I walk my road (1mile down hill then 1 mile back up) with my Boxer everyday. Lately, we've started to jog most of the way down and walk back up. I also live on a farm, so I can take her off the leash to run in the fields. I also wear a Pedometer EVERYWHERE, and I mean everywhere. For ex., last weekend when sunbathing, it was attached to my bathing suit, it feels weird to be without it now!
I will definitely start to post on the accountability thread now. You all have been so inspriring to me and your determination is contagious! Keep up the good work!
