Tropical Honeymoon in June??

Happy New Year!! I'm wondering if there are any ladies out there that went to a tropical destination for their honeymoon in June? Was it beautiful, or incredibly hot and humid? We would be traveling the week of June 11th, and as of right now, I'm leaning towards the Dominican Republic. If you didn't do tropical in June, where did you go?? I'm open to other suggestions! Thanks ladies!

    We did tropical in July, so that is pretty close. We got married during that horrible week when it was so hot and humid the doors were slick with condensation-- remember that? We missed the worst of it while we were on HM in Mexico and it was actually much nicer there all week than it was here! It was in the 80s all week and gorgeous! It only rained for like 10 min one evening and then was beautiful again.

    I think that June technically falls under hurricane season, but there isn't much risk of actual bad weather till you get to Sept. Weather can always be a toss-up, but based on our experience, I would say go for it!

    We honeymooned in the Bahamas on Paradise Island at the end of June/Beginning of July and the weather was perfect!  yes, it was hot if you were in the direct sun for a long period of time, but nothing the ocean can't cure.  It was probably in the high 80s everyday.  It might also have something to do with the fact that Paradise Island is so tiny (only 3.5 miles wide) that the breeze from the ocean keeps it cool.

    I went to Dreams P*nta (why does TN not like that word?!) Cana (DR) in June 2009.  The weather was fantastic!  Of course, that was two years ago, but if I remember correctly, there was just an afternoon of rain, but the rest was great!

    We are planning on going to Jamaica this end of June for our honeymoon. We just need to pick which resort to stay at!!
