Hearing the kids talk about the election this morning. I think we need a brush up on US History, but at least they are talking about it and watched.

We even had a watch party after school in the library. Hey, we're trying over here.

I'm being nosy and one 8th grader just said she made her mom vote because she kept nagging her. That's right, Girl.:)

    The kiddo's school had an election yesterday.

    Romney won...not surprising, considering we live in a red state.

    DD's class had an election to name their new hermit crab.  Clearly, the female vote was the important one here, because "Ariel" won by a landslide.

    We were going to stay up for the speeches, but we ended up going to bed just after 10.  We let Son stay up and watch with us and I think he learned a lot about the process.

    I felt like an A+ parent last night, teaching my child and whatnot.  :)
