AVOID the Mt. Laurel Marriott

We contacted Stephanie at  this hotel months back to set up a wedding block and next day brunch for our guests.  2 weeks before the invites were sent, my mother called to check that everything was straight and ready to go. My invites are sent, my guests start calling to book rooms, and when they call, the hotel has no idea who we even are.

My mom contacted them immediately, on Saturday, and they said it would be fixed by Monday.  It's still not working today, and no one would answer her phone calls or deal with it - she has to keep leaving messages, and no one returns her calls. It's very embarassing to have my guests keep calling and telling me when they call the hotel, they have no record of us.  THIS PLACE IS A MESS!

aww this stinks.. I'm sorry 'bout all this confusion!

I am a huge fan of Marriott's because I travel quite a bit and was bummed when I heard the Marriott doesnt have a shuttle to use to get people to and from the hotel.  I didn't want to rent a shuttle either.

We booked at the Wyndham because of the shuttle.

I usually like Marriotts too, which is why we booked with them. I was really mad when I found out about the Wyndham shuttle. I wish I thought this out better!

How early  did you  book the hotel for your guests?

We did it about 5-6 months ahead, but it doesn't really need to be done this early. My mom is just VERY proactive.
