Good Morning ladies,

I heard an NPR report on my drive into work this morning and thought I would share it with the ladies in the ATL, just in case any of you were thinking about adopting a dog or a cat in the future.

The Paulding Humane Society has been overrun with rats. They have to close the
shelter down for repairs but all animals MUST be adopted out or they will be euthanized.. said the report. This just breaks my heart.

Adoption fees have been reduced down to $20.00. This includes the microchip and all fixed pets. I believe its a really short deadline on this.

This just breaks my heart I really wish that we could adopt one of these sweeties, but are at our animal limit right now...

oh no! that's so sad! i've been trying to convince my fiance to let me adopt another cat this week, too.

Just an update (I'm from Paulding), they all got adopted. One of them, a gorgeous three-legged german-shephard, is sitting on my feet as I type. ♥

YAY! Thanks for the update! I've been hearing about this a lot (I'm at the vet school), so I'm glad to hear they all got adopted.
