Hi ladies!
I'm somewhat new to this board. I think I have only posted on here once before. My FI and I are looking to set a date in October 2012 and are looking at venues in South Jersey. Right now, we would like to find a venue that is a little different than your traditional banquet hall, but not overpriced. We are planning on checking out a few vineyards in the area.
I have one question, and this may sound ridiculous. FI and I are interested in looking at a few venues this coming weekend. Key word- "looking."
We would like to tour a few places to see what they are like, get a general price range, and to know what some of our options are. There has been a lot of pressure from family memebers to have it in certian locations, so we want to have a clear idea of where we would like to hold it (ex, banquet hall, restaurant, vineyard, etc) before we announce it. However, I'm not ready to sit down with a salesperson and hash out all the details.
Is this possible, or are you hassled to make a decision as soon as you walk into a venue?
Just wondering! Any advice would be helpful!
