Nope... sure most of the people will be gone by then... we will have a final dance and that's about it :P

Probably not. I think a lot of people will be gone by then and we will be staying around for a bit for cleanup.

No, they're not common place in my area and by 12 or 1 am there won't be enough people left to make it worthwhile.

No...We will stay until the very end and we have said our goodbyes. I have never seen a grand exit so maybe it isn't common in this area?

It seems silly to do a grand exit because we aren't going anywhere until Tuesday.

nope, becuase people will probably all want to say goodbye individually...we are hopefully just going to sneak away. maybe have the Dj say somehing about us leaving but thats it. we are also leaving really early...probably 9:30 or 10.

Though I love the sparkler send-off, FI and I decided we would stay til the end and party it up with our guests. The prospect of extra fun rather than a grand exit was more appealing to us.

YES!!! We are doing the sparkler send off!!!!!! Our reception starts at 8pm and we are having the sparkler sendoff at 11pm!!! The photographer is really excited about shooting it too!!!! We have to be out by 12midnight...so if we leave at 11pm then that will give clean up time to get done

no we will probably stick around to help clean up. FI doesnt know that yet and I'm sure he wont be very happy to know he has to help clean.

Nope, we're spending the night at the hotel where our ceremony and reception are, at the very least I would feel really silly being 'sent off' when I'm not going anywhere.

We will be doing a Grand Exit with sparklers. I kind of want to stay afterwards and make sure everythings gets cleaned up and we get our centerpieces, but I know my family or FI won't let me.

So we will get in our limo and head to the the hotel right afterwards.

I think it's so interesting to read the differences in all the areas. In all of the weddings that I've been to, there is always a big send-off whether you're going somewhere or not. If I told my family and friends that I was staying to clean that night, they would have a hissy fit. It's a rule here that's the bride and groom's time alone. Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked. Back to the original question... We're doing an old-fashioned kind of theme so I thought bird seed would be the best thing. It's kind of funny. I mentioned a long time ago about just not having anything and my mom said that I couldn't deprive them of having something to throw at us. lol We're also leaving in a horse and carriage. I'm really excited. I'm a horse girl so that's just perfect.

Same. Plus our photographer is done around 10pm so we wouldn't even get to have the amazing photo ops ;)

We are doing a last dance though. 'Don't stop believing' was always the last song at every bar in my college town, wo we'll be using that. I will be a great ending!

We have no plans, but I would love to get out. I will be tired and hungry (we are doing cake/punch afternoon reception and I am one of those likes to eat every two hours type!). FI wants a big send-off - so he can plan it! Ha!

We're doing sparklers and then my fiance hired a pedicab (you know, guy on a bicycle with a chair in the back) that my bridal party is decorating to take us literally around the block to our hotel and afterparty. Just the right amount of silly.

Nope. We can walk to the hotel from our venue. I'd like to get the night started early since we have a flight out at the crack of dawn.
