Sarasota DJ and Photog

Hi Ladies!

So, I have picked my venue in Sarasota and the only day they have available is in 6 months.  YIKES!  So, I would love recomendations on a DJ and Photographer.  Also, would you recommend a videographer too...is it necessary?

Would love your advice! Thanks so much!!!

    Congrats!  You can do it though.  I am using Chuck and Dana Caudill.  Chuck is a DJ/Guitar player and Dana is a photographer.  They came highly recommended when I booked my reception site on Anna Maria Island.  You can book them separately or together, its kinda cool that they are a husband/wife team, Ive heard nothing but good things about both.  We are not using a videographer, cause I don't feel like I will actually watch it.  Id rather have a friend put together a slide show of wedding pictures to music....just as good in my book!

    Hello and congrats!  You've got the biggest parts taken care of - date and venue, so now on to the fun stuff! 

    Photo -  Stephanie A Smith.  She is amazing!  She was one of the first vendors I booked and I cannot say enough good stuff about her.

    DJ - Grant Hemond & Assoc.  They have been around a long time and have a great reputation in the Bay area.  They have a team of DJ's to choose from and are extremely professional.

    Video - Trinity Wedding Video.  David is great!  I toyed with the idea of whether or not to have a videographer or not too, but in the end it was a no-brainer for me.  There are certain things that just cannot be captured in a photo.  Of all my friends who are already married, the ones who didn't get one, most wish they had.  But the ones who did, NONE of them have regretted the decision.  I want our future children to be able to watch their great grandma doing the electric slide! :-D

    Photo- Tibor Imely! Love his work and he has been so great to work with so far.

    DJ- Delair Entertainment- Wayne has been great so far as well! I'm really confident on having him for our music and he is not cheesy at all which was one thing I was looking out for.

    we've met with Marina and liked her and her work, We just recently did an engagement session and it was great. I think her work is a little different from others that i've seen, it's not a cookie cutter stuff and not in your face, and that's what we like.
    We did contacted Jason, as he seems to be favorite around here, but he would not give us less hours for less price, but you might want to check him out, he does great work, not doubts about it, just wasn't flexible enough for what we wanted.

    Sorry, forgot to add, we are using Chill Will DJ services, he's down south but does come to Sarasota. We are in Venice however. Very nice guy and easy to talk to. We wont be using video, so can't recommend anyone.
