Accountability - Monday

Hey girls, I'm back!!!! 

So this weekend was a TOTAL fail as far as accountability goes... didn't work out at all (minus walking everywhere as we checked out the attractions, and running around at an indoor water park). We also ate A LOT of junk food and drank A LOT (it was a bachlorette after all) so today is Day 1 back on the right track lol 

How was yesterday for everyone? Anyone have any accomplishments to report back (ie weight loss goals, you did something you've been trying to get yourself to do for awhile, etc)?

  • Sounds like a great trip!  I did pretty good this weekend.  Stayed under my calorie goal yesterday and did the wii fit for 45 minutes.  I weighed myself saturday morning and I am down 4 pounds!!!  YAY!!  Although, saturday night we went to Red Lobster for my dad's birthday dinner and I went over my calories for the day by about 130 and I didn't exercise.  Oops...  Oh well, it's the start of a new week and I am feeling good!  Good luck to everyone else this week too!

    Yesterday I worked out with Dan so I did only weight training. I worked hard and i'm starting to feel my back get sore today (we did mostly back and abs). I had oatmeal for breakfast, celery/pita chips/hummus as a snack, and then we made personal pizzas for dinner. for a weekend day, it was decent.

    Today is back to work, so back on a schedule. i plan to do mostly cardio tonight at the gym.

    My weight has stayed the same pretty much for the past week.
    Happily married since 9/1/2012!

  • Traveled all weekend for a funeral which meant lots of eating out.  I managed to eat pretty healthy throughout the trip, opting for salads etc when I could.  Since we got back pretty late last night and I work today I have a lot to get done tonight that doesn't involve exercising.  I hope to get back at it by mid-week but continue the healthy eating and walking the dog at least.
  • Yesterday was ok. No time for excercise but I ate fairly well. We went up to FBIL's and had steamed crabs. They're pretty low in calories so I ate quite a few.

    Wehn we got home that evening I was pretty hungry but nothing sounded good. I rummagged through the cabinets and fridge and made up a meal that was pretty tasty and rather healthy, the "erecipe" is below.

    1 can cannelini beans, drained and rinsed
    2 ounces of feta (estimated)
    1/4 red onion, finely chopped
    1/2 TBSP olive oil
    Juice of 1 Lemon
    2-3 TBSP chopped fresh dill

    I think I'll definitely be making this again for a workday lunch!

  • I'll be stuck in a car for 8 hours today on my way to Virginia :( At least I can't snack! Although I might be bad at the rest stops :( no fries!

  • I had an alright weekend.  I somehow managed to throw out my back while sitting on the couch Saturday morning (I have no idea how) and could barely move for the rest of the weekend.  I did eat pretty well though, with the exception of the pizza for dinner last night.  I have to allow myself one cheat a week though or I'll never make it.  I have PT after work tonight so that will be a bit of a workout.  I have to behave myself this week because I'm leaving for Maine on Thursday night and I never eat right when I'm up there.  My family just makes so many amzing rich foods.

    I weighed in this morning (finally remembered) and I'm holding steady at 148lbs.  Hoping that I can find time to start up on the Wii Fit soon and start working that number down.

  • I'm up 2.5 pounds.  But we went out to eat Saturday, and had Portuguese food at the fam's house. 

    I didn't get any exercise in this weekend.
  • I did great and I did a bunch of cooking. Walked around the mall for a bridal show saturday, and walked the dogs 2 miles becuase it was pretty nice out.  Sunday i painted and ripped out a cabinet, also unloaded a truck worth of white birch to FFIL's wood shop barn, so I guess that was a pretty good work out.

    We are finishing renovating the top half of our duplex, and we are using a few hundred white bich candle holder for our weddign that FI is making.  He and my dad went and collected about 30 trees sat morning, so we had to get them to the barn and out of the truck so they can dry out over the winter, once spring breaks it will be an assemlby line of cutting and drilling, I'm so excited!

  • I did pretty goood yesterday... I didnt eat as much.. I had cherrios, meatloaf, ff, and so dessert

  • I did my first kickboxing class tonight.  I feel great. it kicked my butt though.  I am going to go twice a week, but can go up to 4 times if I want. I am def gonna be sore tomorrow.  I ate well today too. :)
